Marloth ParkThis is a Private game park situated in the heart of Mpumulanga. It runs 14 km along the picturesque crocodile River which is the border for the famous Kruger Park. It is 3490 hectares of African Wilderness beauty. When standing on the waterfront banks of the Marloth Park overlooking the Crocodile River, you are looking straight into The most famous Game Reserve of South Africa. Marloth Park has it's own wild animals free to roam the park which allows you to visit their natural habitat we would call their home. It takes pride in protecting Africa's wild animals and vegetation and man is forced to abide by these rules so that we can continue to visit this African Haven and allowing our children's children to see what we were so privileged to see. Allowing these wonderful creatures and eco-systems to survive the ages under secure protection of the the Marloth community.
Marloth is a host for many creatures including the Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Leopard, Wildebeest and many other species. Because of this unique environment in allowing you to walk amongst the abundant game, Marloth's residential park does not allow the more dangerous of the big five being the, Elephant and Lion, to roam the park freely however Marloth Park has its own private game reserve called Lion's Spruit. Here you can drive throughthe reserve in your own car or, you can take a trip with our experienced game rangers on a open top 4x4 vehicle, and spot game at your leisure all day long at no extra cost. Lion's Spruit hosts all of the famous big five as well as many other species of wild game and bird life, not to mention the African bush vegetation. Animals freely roaming across the garden of Riwari namo lodge and even right up to your front door. Whilst having a barbecue or cocktails on the viewing deck , the animals will visit, allowing you the most intimate contact with nature. You can enjoy the peaceful serenity of the African lifestyle and enjoy the luxurious comfort Riwari Namo Safari Lodge has to offer you. Surrounding AreaMpumulanga, also known specifically as the Lowveld, has a long history of tradition associated with transport of riders coming through the area on their way to mining settlements in this region as well as the first settlements of farmers. Marloth Park is situated approximately 80 km from Nelspruit, being your nearest big city. It is also situated 20 km from Malelane and 20km from Komatipoort. These are small farming towns which will suffice for your basic needs. Mpumulanga is very well known for all its wonderful game parks and wild game farms. When driving along the N4 national road, you can choose amongst these many different parks or game farms for various different safari trips. Due to the Marloth's strong beliefs in the protection of our wild life, it does not cater for game hunting. However, these beautiful game farms offer several packages foe you to choose from if you are a lover of game hunting. Marloth is less than an hours drive from Mozambique which requires you to cross the border into this beautiful country. Here you can drive to the sea front and if you are a recreational diver, enjoy a few dives in the African ocean waters. |
